What It Takes

  • Must be 18 years old

  • Valid Driver’s License with two years of driving
  • Arizona EMT certification upon graduation from academy
  • Meet physical abilities required for firefighting duties

Salary

  • Recruit Academy $17.26/hr - 40-hr week
  • After Academy $48,527/year
  • Pay plan to reach $68,622/year for Firefighter
  • Opportunities to promote to Inspector, Engineer, Captain, and Chief Officer
